The Equipment Window is where you can manage and optimize your characters' gear. Proper equipment can greatly enhance your character's performance and allow for better results in battle or other activities.
Each character has a total of five equipment slots:
Offensive Item Slot: For weapons or items that boost attack-related stats.
Defensive Item Slot: For shields, armor, or items that improve defense.
Special Item Slot: For unique gear with specialized effects.
Spell Slot 1: For equipping spells.
Spell Slot 2: For equipping additional spells.
When you select an equipment slot, a list of all compatible items for the character's class will be displayed.
Items for which the character does not meet the minimum level requirement will be grayed out and unavailable for selection.
Hovering over any item (equipped or in the inventory) will show detailed stat information, allowing you to compare and strategize effectively.
In the Equipment Window, similar items are grouped together in the equipment list to simplify selection and management. For example:
If you have three Uncommon Axes, the list will display it as one Uncommon Axe.
This streamlined approach ensures the list remains organized and easy to navigate, especially when managing large inventories.
When an item is equipped, its effects are applied directly to the character's base stats. These stats, shown in the Character Window.
This makes it easy to see the impact of each piece of equipment on your character's overall performance.
Items can be equipped or re-equipped at any time. However, equipping has specific rules and costs:
Equipping is free in the following situations:
The character has never equipped an item in the corresponding slot.
The character has just leveled up.
In all other cases, equipping an item incurs a Spores cost. Plan your equipment changes strategically to minimize resource usage.
When replacing an equipped item with a new one:
The old item will be automatically moved to the player's inventory, ensuring it’s not lost.
