$CHAMPZ Tokenomics (Play and Burn)

Champignons of Arborethia offers a unique play and burn mechanic where $CHAMPZ are bought back and burned via burning the in-game currency SPORES.

Total supply: - 1,000,000,000 $CHAMPZ

Taxes: - Buy/Sell 5%/5% (1%/1% for the daily burning bucket)

Play and burn: Do I need to buy or burn my own $CHAMPZ? No. The buy back and burn is funded from taxes. You do not need to spend a single token, just raising the value of your holdings.

The burning window can be accessed when clicking on your SPORES balance. When burning, the chosen amount of SPORES are spent and the amount is snapshotted.

There are three different buckets that are important when it comes to the burning mechanic.

  1. The Burn bucket

The Burn bucket is the sum of all burned SPORES over all wallets during a day, snapshotted at the end of the day.

  2. Total Spores bucket

The sum of all remaining SPORES on all wallets at the end of the day.

  3. Daily BBBB (Buy Back n Burn Bucket) in ETH

The daily amount of ETH that is "burned". This amount is highly depending on the funds on the p2b wallet and calculated on a daily basis.

The Ratio between the Burn bucket and the total Spores Bucket is calculated. Exactly that ratio is burned from the daily BBBB (Buy Back n Burn Bucket).

Ratio = Burn bucket / total Spores bucket

Burning ETH = Daily BBBB * Ratio

$CHAMPZ are then bought with the calculated amount of ETH and sent to the NULL adress.

A preview will show the percentage of the burning pool that will be burned with your current amount of SPORES (careful, the preview only takes into account the spent SPORES and SPORES amount at that particular time, it might change throughout the day).

It can be seen that the burn amount depends on the ratio of daily burned SPORES to total SPORES outstanding, and the daily burning bucket. If every account is low on SPORES, a big portion of the daily burning bucket can be burned with a rather small amount of SPORES. Likewise it can happen that a small portion of the bucket gets burned, even with a big amount of SPORES, if a lot of SPORES are currently distributed. The burn mechanism will only ever burn a reasonable amount of ETH, to avoid GAS fees being possibly higher than the burned ETH amount.
